there's two major schools of thought about wikipedia in school here. one is that wikipedia is great, and the other (larger) camp says it's unreliable at best, and absolutely not a valid source of accurate useful information. it's interesting and i hadn't really thought too hard about it before but it does make sense. good place to start for research but i'd never cite it as a resource. heh.
