You know what can really make you feel crappy about being a woman?

Walking into a drugstore where the feminine hygiene products are on one side of the aisle and the diapers/baby care are on the other side of the aisle.

You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't.

I'd like to live, one day, in a society that does make me feel like being female is a punishment.

this may be tmi, but i actually switched to a reusable product and i haven't had to look at that bullshit in months.

i still hate that they're called hygiene products, like we're somehow unclean because we bleed (and not making teh baybees). blah.

Not tmi. I hate the waste I create every month in order to "feel clean." But seriously? I'm scared of that cup thing. Does it work? Does it leak? If we get them and they leak anyway, should we just get over ourselves?

I was thinking of switching to reusable pads. I don't think my body is digging the whole bleached, perfumey crapola available. Why in the hell are tampons scented? I just wanna know why.

I like how the lube and condoms are right above the pregnancy tests and ovulation thingies. Buzz. Kill.

It's like being a chick is some error you need to correct and bring it back in line.
