Yay for glee!
Saturday, 24 September 2005 00:57My first full out glee!post.
Five Good Things About Today
1. Not having to worry about getting comments on my poetry made class fun for once
2. Stargate: Atlantis - fanlovehappyslashtasticjoysquee
3. The strange furry creatures in my house that have been known to answer to "Buster" and "Puddles"
4. Have discovered method of outsmarting parkingnazis monitors.
5. Got out of last class of the day early
Three Things I Did Well
1. Chose healthier, lower-sugar snack when sugarbomb of a Twix bar was readily available. Also selected *Diet* Coke. Have kept calorie intake and sugar intake to a reasonably low level as I've lost five pounds and would like to lose lots more and figure walking a lot and not eating sugary things helps.
2. Was able to explain Beloved better than history teacher could and felt very intelligent
3. Wrote a small note to give a compliment to a poem written by an inmate in the juvenile detention center where my college professor helps out, which Dr. Baron says will make said inmate's day, especially since said inmate is now no longer allowed to go to the school inside the jail as she's 18 and she has nobody to read her poems at all.
Two things I look forward to doing better tomorrow:
1. Working on novel, wheeeeeee
2. Possible cleanage of room/bathroom
