earthbelowThank you to everyone who offered my family and me their condolences and well wishes on the death of my grandfather. I'm so grateful I have such good friends, and it does help.
My grandmother is doing all right, my uncle and his wife are there to help her because they live in the same town she does, and she is a very strong lady. As for my grandfather's final wishes, there was no funeral or visitation as he very clearly made it known he wanted only to be cremated, which has already been done.
I'm going to make sure to keep in better touch with my grandmother, especially in November as the 27th would have been their 50th anniversary.
I'm doing better, though I suspect that this might be a tough holiday. It helps to know that my grandfather is no longer in any pain, and that he, by his own statements, was ready to pass on.
