5 Good Things About Today

1. First really cool - almost cold - weather. Got to break out long pants, long sleeved shirt.
2. Recieved mini!ketchup from mom as souvenir from her biz trip to North Carolina. It's very cute and amusing. It's barbie-sized ketchup.
3. 88 on Civil War paper that I expected to bomb with heretofore unknown spectacularness.
4. Got to break out the leather duster that I got from denoue_moi
5. två hundar! I have två hundar! They are the best hundar in the world. For those who don't speak the wonderful Swedish language, I have two big love-mutts.

3 Things I Did Well Today

1. Worked on novel
2. Did not freak when gas man erroneously came to cut off gas for unpaid bill that had been paid for a month. Instead, calmly and adultly wrote check to prevent cut off and then revealed in how mad my mother got at the gas people. Because my mom's angry!voice? Can bend reinforced *steel* when she wants it to. Check will not be cashed, thus no harm done.
3. Did not burn down house while making fishsticks. Any time I use the oven and don't cause fire damage is a miracle.

2 Things I Look Forward to Tomorrow

1. Continued chilly weather and thus excuse to wear scarf and winter clothes that have languished in closet for almost a year.
2. Working more on novel.
