Been kinda quiet 'cause I figured there wasn't much to say that y'all would care about or that would justify my time on here.
I'm at Casa Del Dad, which is mostly okay. Got spiffy high speed internet access and hi-def TV. That rocks.
Of course my mom had to send a letter in advance of us coming about thousands of dollars my dad owes her, but so far nothing has been said.
My grandparents are crazy, but good. Sorta. They gave us lots of money and there was a strange vacuum robot running around. It was a thing.
Bad Kenny G christmas music abounds, and there's enough sugar here to give a horse diabetes. So I've really got to watch myself. Because it's tempting. I'm safe at my house because we don't *have* anything that contains that much sugar. Hell, we don't even own sugar itself. So there I'm free from temptation.

It's like they put sugar on their sugar and then mix it with some more sugar.
Still, it's a decent holiday, I don't have to work, and I've learned that apparently it's rude to ask about money but not at all rude to be racist.
Their my family. I love them.
But their ways ARE NOT my ways.
On the bonus side, I totally expect to get Highlander S5 for X-mas. :) And LJ gave free users 3 more user pics.
I think the free users got a better present than the paid users did, personally. Because I don't use LJ storage space at all. So that did me no good for my paid account. But still. It was a good gift for this account. :)
