1. I hope y'all know that even if I don't reply to all your entries, that *really*, I am reading them and keeping up with your lives. 'cause I'm interested. 'cause I wanna know. 'cause you're *good* like that.

2. If I had one journal for nothing but good news, gleeposts, and upbeat things and a journal for nothing but bitching, moaning, whining, angsting and complaining which do you think would get more of a response from people?

3. I know where my lack of ability to deal with emergencies comes from. My mother, also, is a basketcase when it comes to even the smallest of unforseen badnesses. Like, say, locking yourself out of the car. I don't know how locksmiths get locks undone on cars, but I'm pretty sure they don't call their family, hold the phone up to the lock, and proceed to rant. But in defense of both me and my mother, in non-emergency situations, we can be quite useful and well put together.

the positive journal would get more response. even though people seem to read the negative journals more, they comment on the positive ones more. it's like we're morbidly fascinated with the misery in people's lives but we don't want to admit it, so we only comment on the fluffy bunny posts.

at least, that's what i've noticed, anyway.

Astute observation. Hmm.
