Adding to the list

Words you should never say:

"It's a simple recipe. How can you mess it up?"

Fly food is very simple. Want the laundry list? :)

I don't know what it is. I think bad food luck is going around. Huh.

And don't ask about the croissants. I don't think they're supposed to be that shape *or* that color on the bottom.

Can I suggest Pilsbury crescent rolls? Easier to deal with, harder to mess up (just so long as you don't try to bake them in my toaster oven.....) :)

Well, that's what they were. And I just couldn't figure out how the frell to get them into the crescent shape. And the dough went soft and was sticking to things and I had a hard time getting the can open so some of it had come seeping out of the one whole I'd punched and...

Things devolved from there.

I have this whole spatial relations issue in my brain where I just cannot figure stuff like that out.

Things can be simple and still hard. Pound cake's directions are simple, but if you fail them in any way you end up with brick cake.

Try, try again.

What was it, btw?

Yeah, I suppose. Cooking is weird that way.

What was it, btw?

It was this chicken and stuffing type deal. And dude, it even came out of a box, but it was so needlessly complicated. I won't be trying that again, though. Because even if I'd done the recipe perfect, I don't think that it would have been that good.

I know. I know. :)
