It's never a good idea to handle a statically charged fleece blanket while listening to an iPod. I know, I know, it's one of those bizarre things.
But your *eardrums* will thank you. I know mine would have, if I'd had this little piece of wisdom in advance.
Fortunately, it's a lesson you only need to learn the once. So, go forth as better people with better inner ears.
