Do you buy classic Michael Jackson songs off of iTunes?

On one hand, I really don't want send money off to a child molester.

On the other hand, the last copy I had of the Thriller album was vinyl record. I kid you not. Vinyl. And years later, I still have a deep and abiding love for "Beat It" and "Dirty Diana" and "Billie Jean". The songs are damn good.

Unless someone knows where I can get a free copy of these songs - thus satisfying both my need to be moral and my need for the shiny.

Personally boycotting RIAA, so don't use that part of the iTunes store, but....

I'd say buy them, just because the amount of money that MJ is likely to get off of your purchase of a handful of songs isn't going to purchase him more than a cup of coffee. Sadly enough.

My favorite MJ song is "Human Nature" because of sentimental reasons, circa 1983. I would pay for that. For the rest, nah.

But you know, doesn't someone else own his catalog? So your money's not really going to a child molester. . .

I know just how you feel. I like his early stuff but I really think he's guilty and don't want to give him any money... :(
