This is how much I dislike fish
Wednesday, 12 November 2008 18:14Knowing that Caesar salad dressing contains anchovy has severely diminished my capacity to enjoy it. I think I'm switching back to Italian or Ranch now.
I wish Andrew had never told me that. I really used to love caesar, too. It was yummy. Now all I can taste is an oily, greasy fishy taste.
Also: how the does anyone eat those horrible little things on pizza*? I mean, what a waste of dough, cheese and sauce. Ick.
*if you do happen to be an anchovy lover, my apologies, but...ick!

Date: 13 Nov 2008 11:17 (UTC)i've never found a caesar dressing that didn't have anchovy paste in it except the vegan varieties, which are pretty yummy, but hard to come by in restaurants.
so very sad.
extra sad is that the dressing doesn't *need* anchovy to be tasty and delicious. it's just more proof that the food companies will put animal byproducts in *anything* just to cut down on waste.
