Did the Bronx Zoo yesterday, lots of pics here from the boy's digital camera as well as pictures from Salem, MA and Grand Central Station. And of course, some completely gratuitous pictures of my bebies (aka my dogs) because they were on his computer from when he came to Florida and everyone needs to marvel at the cuteness that is my dogs. Pics are kinda big - just a warning to dialup folks. Thus, separated and cut tagged.

Tiger, again. Incidentally, I was up against the glass when it walked by and *dude* I was centimeters from the thing. Seriously. Had there not been glass there, I woulda touched it.





A sign warning people who can read Russian that there are tigers. Apparently, Russians need this told to them as they pass pictures and signs telling about the tigers in Tiger Mountain.

The tigers were freakin' beautiful man. Just beautiful and we got to see one eat a blood popsicle. I mean I was THISCLOSE to one.

It was HOLY SHIT THAT'S CLOSE IF THERE WASN'T GLASS THE TIGER WOULD EAT ME close. I felt it's body heat and I saw it's muscles moving under it's skin and heard it and could see it's hairs and it's body.

It was truly a beautiful animal.

I haven't actually taken the thing off since I got it. It's just too squeeful and pretty.

And yes - Puddles. He is as psychotic as ever. But still we love him and sometimes lock him in the bathroom. :) Mostly he's okay, and I think he's calmed a little.
