Tuesday!glee!

5 Good Things About Today!

1. Continued coolness of weather! 59 degrees! Got to break out my favorite pink coat.
2. Lit!squee with Kimball
3. Friend bought me a smoothie as thank you for money I lent her. How sweet!
4. Mom and me made salads and quietly bonded over soup. I like when we do that sorta thing.
5. Nap! Uninterrupted (sorta) nap! Interruption came via my hund (aka the Puds), but he's learned to come when I call and thus, I can distract him from barking insanely at whatever the heck he was going nuts over.
6. (Bonus!) [livejournal.com profile] denoue_moi tried a gleepost! I have spread a little bit of glee. Even if she feels it wasn't successful, I totally think it was worth a shot. Bwahaha, f-list, your glee will be assimilated!

3 Things I Did Well Today

1. Worked on novel
2. Did not fail as badly at writing essay for Irish history as I expected I would
3. Showed Leo at work how to do some booklisting stuff, thus proving I am Very Good At My Job.

2 Things I Look Forward To Tomorrow

1. Working on novel and finally, finally pushing past chapter 3
2. The weather staying cool! Blue jacket weather and maybe a scarf! Yay for scarves!

PS - [livejournal.com profile] jennixen thanks so much for teaching me the Swedish word for dog, dogs, and two dogs. I have had endless fun making Swedish/English puns from them. Like: "You ain't nothin' but a hund dog" and Atilla the Hund. And A Hundred and One Dalmations. I wish to know more Swedish.

Hahahaha!

That is my brand new secret dirty word. It also makes lots of very boring literature very interesting if the last line of the story is actually "Slut".

Teach me more Swedish, dirty or otherwise!

Uhh, a pencile case is called = pennfack and the fack is pronouced just exactly like fuck. :))
Very amusing!
Fack is also union and there are some tales of Swedish businessmen speaking at International meetings and using the word Fack instead of union...even more hilarious!

Oh my god! So basically marriage is a sacred union aka a sacred fuck?

Yes. How much do I love your language now? About as much as I ♥ you, Jenny.

Also? "Fuck you" is "Union you!".

I'm totally bumping Sweden up two spots on the "Places I Will Go Before I Die" list.

*lmao*

Well, union as in worker's union actually. ;)
Fack can mean several things but it's usually worker's union OR a box, compartment, case.

This is something you MUST listen to, because it's hilarious!
Click on lesson 1 and you'll hear this guy trying to pronounce Swedish with ridiculous sentences that his Swedish friends have made for him. :)))
