Post the first line from the first entry of every month in '05:

Friends only. I entitle this week: The week in which Meg pulls off the impossible, academically, and decides that despite dodging nuclear bombs at work, she still *hearts* her job (mostly). Another one for the files...to go under the heading of "What are the Odds?". And a meme, to start things out right. I need to go to a gay bar sometime Video casette driving school is the most boring thing ever. Just added a whole slew of new friends to the f-list. Diplomacy is learning how to offer critiques of classmates' poetry. All right, so guess what? A few things we need to get straight. 5 Good Things About Today...

Christmas Wish List

Note: Nobody feel obligated or anything. And I'd really like to see my f-list start posting THEIR wish lists for X-mas/Hannukah/(insert holiday you celebrate), and if you're not comfortable with that, leave a list in the comments.

1. In-depth constructive criticism of *any* of my fan fic.

2. The Watchmen by Alan Moore

3. A scanner

4. Highlander: The Series, Seasons 4 or 5 (the seasons with Methos!)

5. Any encouragement I can get on my novel

6. A little paid time on this journal or extra icons

7. A slinky

8. Dr. Who 2005 tapes/DVDs (I'll take whatever I can get!)

9. Canvases for painting and new brushes.

10. Naked Spike on a pony hand delivering a three book deal from a major publisher. Or world peace. Which ever is more likely to happen first.
