"Be nice. It's my first day"

Well, being jobless, I decided to get my domestic on today.

I cleaned like a histronic housewife. No, really. I thought I was gonna start growing a beehive hairdo and vacuuming in high heels any moment.

I vacuumed in flip-flops. I feel my feminist cred is safe for now.

I also am, as we speak, attempting to cook. I should know in about 45 minutes whether or not it's actually fit for human consumption.

I'm trying this recipe: Basil-Parsley-Garlic Chicken. It's supposed to be really simple and we had all the stuff for it. And it smells really good right now. It can't be bad if it smells good, right? Right?

I kinda feel like the 9th Doctor: "Please, gimme this one. Just this once everybody eats!!"

Wish me luck on the cooking.

The chicken was mostly edible. It got sort of dried out because I think I overcooked it a bit.

The Boy was sweet and insisted that he liked it. Though, the next night he was like "hey, here's some stuff in a box you could make."

I think I need to learn a bit more about cooking.
