5 Things That Were Good About Today

1. I got to my interview with absolutely no problems
2. I found $20 on the street, and nobody was around, so - MINE!
3. I have Ham & Cheese loaf. Yes. Yes. Yes.
4. Interview went beautifully. The interviewer liked me. She really, really liked me!
5. The barista in the cafe I sat in on the Columbia U. campus gave me a free smoothie


3 Things I Did Well

1. Nailed the hell out of my interview. I owned like I had the deed to the place.
2. Tipped the ultra nice barista guy who was so nice to me
3. Wrote and made big progress on the novel


2 Things I Look Foward To

1. Cooler weather is coming our way!
2. Hearing whether I got the internship

Meg, that's fantastic! It's very clear that you're a desirable candidate (you've had a couple of close calls), so it's only a matter of time until you're in the right place at the right time and somebody can use you :) I hope this is it!

I'm really hoping the same, because this internship could open so many doors - and it'll give me some badly needed experience.

Plus, it's a fantastic office. There's only 24 people there are they're so laid back and cool. And working on the Columbia U campus would be a bonus, 'cause it's beautiful and I sorta do miss college a little bit now that I'm all graduated.

Oh, and across the street is the cafe where I got the free smoothie. All signs point to AWESOME.
