It's the season of reprieves
Saturday, 15 April 2006 18:08I am feeling 1000% better, thanks to antibiotics and rest and the folks who were kind enough to wish me well.
I think my kidneys are now back in proper working order. And around late Thursday evening, my fever broke. So, yay! No fever!
My sister, also, did *not* have to get her wisdom teeth pulled. Apparently her teeth are right on the nerve in her jaw and they have to wait a year for them to move so they can get pulled. So she gets to eat Easter dinner with us.
Also: hahaha! I kept Lent. Again. So, this makes my second year in a row.
And Tuesday? I'm saving up all my calories and all my badness for the *week* and buying one of the super size smoothies that they sell on campus, the kind that cost 6.00 because it's got enough fruit-y goodness for a family of four.
I can't believe this semester is getting over with already. And I've only got to wait until the 29th to go see the Boy. I know. We've only been apart for, like, a month. But the schedule just worked out that well. So I get to go to New York again.
It's shaping up to be a less than cruel month after all.
And I have a $25 Target gift card, so *extra* glee!
Yep. It's a damn good day.
